Ingredients of Aloo Kachori Recipe
- You need 2 Cups of Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted.
- It’s ½ tsp or to taste of Namak (Salt).
- Prepare 3 tbs of Ghee.
- You need 1 Cup or as required of Pani (Water) chilled.
- You need 1 tbs of Oil.
- It’s 1 tsp of Zeera (Cumin seeds).
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Rai dana (Mustard seeds).
- You need 2-3 of Green chilli (Green chilli) chopped.
- You need 2 medium of Aalo (Potatoes) boiled & mashed.
- You need 1 tsp of Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste).
- It’s of Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste.
- You need of Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 2 tsp.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of Haldee powder (Turmeric powder).
- It’s of Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 medium.
- You need 2 tbs of Besan (Gram flour).

Aloo Kachori Recipe step by step
In bowl,add all-purpose flour,salt,ghee and mix well.Gradually add chilled water and knead until dough is formed.
Cover with wet cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes. In frying pan,add oil,cumin,mustard seeds and mix.
Add green chilies and mix.
Add mashed potatoes and mix well.
Add ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder,salt,coriander powder,turmeric powder and onion,mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
Add gram flour and mix well..
Knead dough again and cut into pieces..
Take a small dough and make a balls.
On working surface,apply oil and flattened the balls with the help of the fingers.
Take a potato filling and make a balls.
Now place potato ball in flatten dough,warp and seal the edges and make a ball again.
Cover the balls with wet cloth for 5 minutes.
Grease hands with oil,take a stuffed ball and flattened with the help of the palms.
In wok,heat cooking oil and fry on low flame until golden brown.
