- You need of milk.
- It’s of plain flour.
- You need of eggs.
- Prepare of Sunflower oil.
Giant Yorkshire Pudding step by step
Pre-heat oven to 230C/fan 210C..
Pour a cm of sunflower oil into a rectangular deep tin (or a round cast iron pan with depth) and pop in the oven for around 20 mins until the oil is boiling hot..
Meanwhile, make your batter by adding the flour and eggs to a bowl and beating together until thick and smooth..
Gradually add the milk a bit at a time (stirring continuously) and at this stage season. The consistency should be that of single cream. leave to one side for 10 mins..
Remove your tin of oil from the oven and immediately pour in your batter mix..
Pop in the oven for 25 minutes until golden brown (I have said 15 in the vid as my oven is crazy hot but a normal oven will mean the time is more like 25). Be tempted not to open the door as this will affect the rise of your Yorkshire!.
