Ingredients of Easy Plain Naan Bread
  1. It’s of plain flour or strong bread flour I used wholemeal bread flour.
  2. Prepare of sweetner.
  3. You need of dry active yeast.
  4. You need of warm water.
  5. Prepare of margarine I used flora light.
  6. You need of salt.
  7. You need of Topping for Top & bottom.
  8. You need of Oil/butter/margarine your choice I used Weight watchers spread.
Easy Plain Naan Bread instructions
  1. Using breadmaker add water, then flour.

  2. Put sweetner in 1 corner & salt in another.

  3. Put margarine just around outside of middle.

  4. Add yeast in middle.

  5. Put machine on dough and when 90 minutes up turn machine off and divide dough..

  6. Shape into tear shapes on greaseproof paper and cover for 30 minutes.

  7. After 25 minutes put grill on high and line with aluminium foil..

  8. Brush top of each naan with butter/oil i pressed naans flat as they rise a bit under the grill, then put on grill pan butter side down, then brush tops.

  9. carefully grill until golden brown and crispy then turn over. 7-10 minutes.

  10. Serve with curry & rice, or slice little in middle like pocket and fill with cheese, eggs or favourite filling..
