Ingredients of Cranberry Sauce
  1. Prepare 1 bag of fresh cranberries (about 12oz).
  2. You need 2/3 cup of sugar.
  3. It’s of juice of 1 orange + water to equal 1 cup.
  4. You need of zest of 1 orange.
  5. It’s 1/2 cup of toasted walnuts, chopped.
Cranberry Sauce instructions
  1. In large sauce pot add berries, sugar, liquid, and zest.

  2. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Cook for 8-12 minutes.

  4. Pour into ceramic serving dish, cool completely.

  5. Add walnuts around the edge as garnish.

  6. Cover and refrigerate over night.

  7. This is a great side dish, but can also be served as jam the next morning on leftover rolls or as a spread in your leftover turkey sandwiches (add a little horseradish to the sandwich spread).
