Ingredients of Sabudana Vade
  1. You need of soaked sago (sabudana).
  2. Prepare of boiled potatoes.
  3. It’s of lemon juice (amchoor or raw mango powder).
  4. It’s of red chilli powder -skip if you are preparing it for fasts.
  5. It’s of finely chopped coriander.
  6. It’s of grated ginger (optional).
  7. You need of Rock salt (sendha namak).
  8. Prepare of Roasted & finely crushed peanut powder (optional).
  9. It’s of finely chopped green chillies.
  10. Prepare of Desi ghee(clarified butter)/Peanut oil for deep frying.

It is crunchy on the outside and soft inside. This can satisfy just about anybody, even those on a gluten-free diet. Sabudana vada is an Indian dish, typically consumed (on fasting days) in Maharashtra. Grate raw potato in a bowl and remove the moisture in it.

Sabudana Vade step by step
  1. Combine all the ingredients mentioned above in a bowl and mix well..

  2. Divide this mixture into equal portions and shape each portion flat round or which ever shape you like. Keep these aside..

  3. Heat ghee/ oil in a kadhai and start deep-fry the vadas on a medium to high flame till they turn brown in colour from both the sides..

  4. Drain these vadas on absorbent paper to remove excess oil..

  5. Serve these crunchy sabudana aloo tikkis  with fresh curd or chutney of your choice..
