- It’s 1 -Cup of roasted Suji / semolina.
- You need 1/2 -Cup of chopped onion.
- You need 1/4 -cup of green peas.
- Prepare 2 of green chilli chopped.
- Prepare 8-10 of curry leaves.
- You need 1/2 -Cup of desiccated coconut.
- You need 1/2 -Cup of finely chopped coriander.
- Prepare 2 -tbsp of oil.
- Prepare 1 -tbsp of udad dal / black gram.
- It’s 1 -tbsp of gram dal.
- You need 1 -tsp of jeera / cumin.
- It’s 1-tsp of mustard.
- You need 1 -tsp of hing / asafoeida.
- It’s as per taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1/2 -Cup of fine besan sev to sprinkle for garnishing.
Green Peas Suji Upma instructions
Heat a pan add oil first add gram dal & udad dal when turns light pink add mustard,,jeers,green chilli,curry leaves and hing.
Now add,chopped onion and peas cook till peas are cooked soft now add roasted suji again cook for a while and add hot water 2 & 1/2 cup & salt when water is evaporated add desiccated coconut,coriander and mix well.
Pour hot upma in a bowl and unmould in a serving plate garnish with fine besan sev,coriander,desiccated coconut & curry leaves..
