  3. Prepare of medium onion sliced finely.

Mughlai Chicken Gravy step by step
  1. Marinate chicken with little salt and turmeric for half hour.Make a paste of cashewnuts,curd,malai,1 small onion and ginger garlic paste.Heat oil in a wok and fry sliced onion crispy brown.Set aside.Remove excess oil.In 2 tbsp oil,sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala,black peppercorns and bay leaves.When they crackle,add the ground masala,tomato puree,kasoori methi,salt,chaap masala,turmeric and red chilli powder and toss..

Add chicken and fry till oil leaves sides.Add 1 cup water and cook on low flame till chicken is done.Lightly crush crispy fried onion and mix in chicken and cook few minutes.Sprinkle 2 drops mitha attar and ghee.Garnish with chopped coriander,green chillies and few cashewnuts.Serve delicious mughlai chicken on special occasions or weekened family dinner with pulao or any Indian flat bread.
