Biscuits. Experimentation and a need for more biscuits per batch led me to what we think are the best biscuits anywhere! For optimum flavor, these must be baked in hot, buttered cast iron skillets. They are great for breakfast with gravy or jellies.

You can cook Biscuits using 4 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you cook that.
Ingredients of Biscuits
- You need 4 cup of baking mix.
- It’s 1 cup of sour cream.
- Prepare 1 cup of 7 up or sprite.

Biscuits step by step
Preheat oven to 425.
Place butter in a 9×13 baking pan and put in the oven until melted.
Meanwhile measure 4 cups of baking mix (I use pioneer bit bisquick and other baking mixes work as well).
Fold in sour cream and then add the 7 up. It will be very wet..
Flour your work area and knead the mixture..
Pat it out and cut biscuits. Place onto of melted butter..
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
The first step to making great simple biscuits is to whisk together your dry ingredients. Use the biggest mixing bowl you got and just give the flour, baking powder and salt a quick whisk—just to get them incorporated. Then grab your cold butter and cut it into cubes. Place the biscuits on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Brush the Tops and Bake: Before baking the biscuits, brush the tops with milk, buttermilk or cream.
