  5. Beat egg whites with 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar. use hand mixer, beat until stiff peaks, about 5 minutes.

  6. Mix egg whites into batter by hand.

  7. Pour batter into springfoam pan and bake for 60 min. Test for doneness with toothpick.
