Gyoza are Japanese dumplings filled with moist and juicy ground pork and vegetables, steamed and pan-fried to crispy golden brown on the bottom. Gyoza is a type of Japanese dumplings, with juicy meat filling inside of dumpling wrappers. For an even crispier finish, add ½ teaspoon sesame oil to the pan and swirl it around, lifting the gyoza up with a spatula so the oil can spread evenly beneath. This Japanese Gyoza recipe is my mothers', and it's a traditional, authentic recipe.
Gyoza Simple instructions
Aduk semua bahan isian menjadi satu, setelah sudah rata, siapkan kulit gyoza untuk diisi dengan isian ini.
Panaskan teflon/wajan dengan minyak sedikit sampai seluruh teflon sudah diratakan dengan minyak, lalu masukan gyoza ke dalam teflon/wajan, beri jarak agar tidak menempel.
Setelah sekiranya bagian bawah gyoza sudah agak matang, masukan air putih sampai menutupi gyoza dan tutup atas wajan atau teflon hingga air menyusut. Angkat setelah kulit gyoza sudah berubah warna menjadi agak transparan. Taraaaa~ Setelah itu sudah bisa langsung disajikan dengan saus yang disediakan.
Untuk bagian saus, tinggal dicampurkan semua bahannya, untuk pilihan saus bisa pakai saus kecap asin atau saus bawang putih, sesuai selera ya :).
