  1. It’s of Semolina (Rava/Sooji).
  2. It’s of Oil.
  3. You need of Mustard Seeds.
  4. You need of Cumin Seeds.

  7. It’s of Curry Leaves (Chopped).
  8. You need of Ginger Paste.

Vegetable Upma instructions
  1. Firstly, dry roast the rava in a pan till the raw smell goes. Set it aside..

  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add cumin seeds and allow it to sizzle for few seconds..

  3. Add green chillies, curry leaves, onions and ginger paste and saute till the onion changes its color..

  4. Add the vegetables ie. carrot, green peas and salt and saute for a minute..

  5. Add the chopped tomatoes and saute for 2 or 3 minutes till the tomatoes are soft and mushy..

  6. Finally, add the roasted rava. Mix well so that everything combines well..

  7. Add water. Once the water starts boiling, cover the pan with the lid and cook on low flame for 2 or 3 minutes..

  8. Rava absorbs all the water in few minutes. Stir it..

  9. Off the flame. Garnish with roasted, peeled and slightly crushed peanuts, coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix well..

  10. Tasty Vegetable Upma is ready. Serve it hot with any chutney or simple enjoy it as it is..
