- It’s 1 cup of dry roasted ravai(sooji).
- You need 1 tsp of green chilli.
- You need 1 tsp of ginger.
- You need to taste of salt.
- Prepare pinch of hing/asafoetida.
- Prepare 3 tsp of oil.
- Prepare 1 of onion.
- Prepare 3 tsp of cashew.
- You need 2 cups of water.
- You need 1 tsp of curry leaves.
- It’s 2 tsp of urad dal.
- You need 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
Rava upma sooji instructions
Place a thick base kadai Pour some oil when gets heated add mustard,urad dal,curryleaves,cashews.
Next saute onion for 5 mins then add ginger,green chilli and saulte for 5 mins.
Add 2 cups of water and 1 pinch hing,salt.
When the water boils add 1 cup dry roasted rava slowly into the water when the water gets absorbed add some coriander leaves and off the stove and close it with a lid for 5 to 10 minutes.
Now it's ready to eat with coconut chutney and sambar.can eat it with sugar also.
