  2. It’s of sugar.
  3. It’s of cold butter or 1/3c.
  4. You need of large egg.
  5. Prepare of cold milk.
  6. Prepare of baking powder.
  7. Prepare of Vanilla flavor or milk flavor (opt).

Scones step by step
  1. Measure and sift flour in a bowl.

  2. Add sugar.

  3. Add the baking powder and salt. If using salted butter you can skip adding it or add just a pinch.

  4. Add the cold butter.

  5. Mix until crumbly in texture. Add the egg and remain a little to brush top. Mix all over again.

  6. Now, add the cold milk in the middle of the dry ingredients.

  7. Mix until a soft and inelastic dough is formed..

  1. Dust some flour on your work surface and place the dough. Spread with your hands about 1½inch thick and cut out a round shape using a cutter or round object.

  2. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper egg wash, put in oven and bake until top is lightly brown.
