- It’s 3 cup of water.
- You need 1/2 cup of pineapple chunks.
- It’s 1 cup of tomatoes chopped.
- You need 1/4 cup of toor dal cooked.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of pineapple puree.
- Prepare 1/2 bunch of corriander.
- You need 1/4 of curry leaf.
- You need 1/4 tsp of turmeric.
- You need 1/2 tsp of rasam powder.
- Prepare 2 of green chillies.
- You need 1 tbsp of canola oil.
- You need 1/2 tsp of musturd seeds.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
- You need 1 each of garlic pod crushed.
This pineapple rasam is a lovely variety of rasam. having complex flavors, its spicy, tangy, and faintly sweet. The sweet tangy pineapple gives such a nice fruity flavor to the rasam. Pineapple rasam instructions
Heat a vessel, add 3cups of water, mashed dal,chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, green chillies, few curry leaves, rasam powder and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes..
Add pineapple puree and pineapple chunks.boil for 2 min..
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds , crushed garlic, curry leaves anf fry for few seconds..
Add this mixture to the boiled rasam and combine. Turn off the heat and place lid. Garnish with corriander leaves..
