- You need 1 oz of extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil or avocado oil.
- You need 2 of shallots.
- It’s 2 of garlic cloves.
- Prepare 1 lb of ground turkey.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning.
- It’s 4 of smoked Italian sausages.
- Prepare 3 cup of passata.
- It’s 1 1/2 cup of spinach.
- It’s 1 bunch of basil.
- You need 1 of parmesan cheese.
- You need 1 of crushed chilies (ootional).
- Prepare 1 of sea salt.
- Prepare 1 of fresh cracked pepper.
Sausage and Turkey Tri-Coloured Pasta step by step
Heat oil in pan and add shallots - sweat for 2 minutes. Add minced garlic sweat for additional 2 minutes on medium-high heat.
Brown the ground turkey and add Italian seasoning to meat for flavouring (approximately 7 minutes).
Cook pasta in a pot of salted water with olive oil per package directions.
Add sausages to ground turkey and heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
