Ingredients of Tofu/Awara balls
  1. It’s 4 cups of soya beans.
  2. It’s of Alum or lemon juice.
  3. It’s 3 of Eggs.
  4. You need of Seasonigs.
  5. It’s 3 of scotch bonnets.
  6. Prepare 1 of medium onion.

Tofu and ground pork make round balls that are simmered in a savory soup which is served with a finishing touch of fresh pea vine shoots and Chinese dried shrimp. It's a family tradition for Chinese. Pipa tofu is made with a mixture of tofu, shrimp, meat, seasonings processed into a paste-like consistency and then shaped into pipa and then steamed, coat in flour and then deep-fried and served. Tofu/Awara balls instructions
  1. Soak your soya beans, take it to grinding machine, add water and sieve the soya beans water.

  2. Pour the water in a pot leave it to boil, don't be far from it cos xe fara xubewa, then add your lemon juice or soaked alum, you will notice it start to cuddle.

  3. Don't touch it leave it to complete curdling, you will notice the water starts changing colour to something like yellow then your awara is done.

  4. U off the fire, u find a sieving cloth and pour into the sieve and let the water strain from the awara.

  5. After that, when the awara is done, u put as required in a bowl mix Until it becomes like bread crumbs, add ur spices, chopped or grated onion and scotch bonnet and egg.

  6. Mix everything until well corporated, start making balls and placing on a tray until u finished making the balls.

  7. Add some oil for frying, allow it to heat for some time, in a bowl break 2eggs add seasoning, onion and whisk, be taking the awara balls and dipping into the egg and into the heated oil fry until golden brown. Your tofu balls is ready. Bon appeitos!!.
