Ingredients of Tofu/Awara balls
  1. It’s of Cooked awara(unfried).
  2. You need of Egg.
  3. You need of Flour.
  4. It’s of Seasoning and spices.
  5. It’s of Onion and garlic.
  6. It’s of Scotch bonnet(optional).
  7. You need of Golden morn/breadcrumbs/semovita(optional).
  8. You need of Vegetable oil for frying.

Tofu and ground pork make round balls that are simmered in a savory soup which is served with a finishing touch of fresh pea vine shoots and Chinese dried shrimp. It's a family tradition for Chinese. Pipa tofu is made with a mixture of tofu, shrimp, meat, seasonings processed into a paste-like consistency and then shaped into pipa and then steamed, coat in flour and then deep-fried and served. Tofu/Awara balls step by step
  1. Mash the cooked awara in a bowl.

  2. Break in eggs,add diced pepper,garlic,onion,spices and seasoning and mix.

  3. Add flour to the mixture until you get the right consistency (ability to shape it).

  4. Shape them into balls,put in flour followed by egg and then to bread crumbs/golden morn/semolina.

  5. Deep fry and serve with any sauce.
