Ingredients of Vegetable Upma
- It’s 1 cup of rava.
- It’s 2 cups of water.
- Prepare 1 tsp of salt or as per taste.
- You need 1/2 tsp of rai.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of zeera.
- Prepare 8-10 of curry leaves.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of grated ginger.
- Prepare 2-3 of dry red chillies.
- It’s 2 of green chillies.
- Prepare 1 of onion chopped.
- It’s 1 cup of mix vegetables.
- You need 1/2 tsp of haldi powder.
- You need as required of Oil for cooking.
- It’s 1/2 of lemon juice.
Vegetable Upma instructions
Heat oil and add the rai, zeera, curry leaves, red chillies and green chillies. Once they splutter add the ginger.and chopped onions. Saute till onions are transparent. Add the haldi and vegetables. Cook for a few minutes..
In a separate vessel keep the water to boil along with salt. Add the rava to the cooked vegetables and saute till you get a nice aroma..
Once the water comes to a boil, add it to the rava and stir it well. Cook on low flame. Add the lemon juice and mix well. Cover and let the upma simmer on low till all the water dries up and upma is ready.
