- It’s 1 of katori tur daal soaked..
- It’s 2 of green chillies.
- It’s 2 sprigs of curry leaves.
- It’s 4 of tblsp gur.
- It’s of Salt.
- It’s of Haldi.
- Prepare of Water.
- It’s 2 of tomatoes chopped.
- You need of Tempering :-.
- You need 1 tsp of rai.
- It’s 1 tsp of jeera.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of Heeng.

Gujarati khatti meethi dal instructions
Add soaked dal in pressure cooker.. Add chopped green chili,salt,haldi,and water… Pressure cook for 3-4whistle…
Let the steam release, blend dal with blender,, add chopped tomatoes, gur and let it boil for10minutes….
Then prepare tempering… Heat oil in tadka pan.. Add rai jeera, cinnamon stick,red chill, curry leaves,… Once seeds crackle off the gas then add Heeng and red chilli powder… Add this tempering to dal….
Let it boil for 5more minutes… Then it is ready to serve…..
